The preferential databases are quick-access databases. They can be article or set databases (qdv or grp).
To select common preferential databases, refer to How to Create & Manage the Databases.
The specific preferential databases are not stored in the estimate, but bookmarked.
To define an ordered list of preferential databases:
1.Select Data>Select Preferential Databases (alternative: File>Tools>Databases); this opens the Preferential tab of the selector
2.Click Add; this opens the Databases tab
3.Select a base and click Add; this opens the Preferential tab where the desired database is now enrolled
4.If you intent to autocomplete a reference/description on input (refer to How to Insert an Article or a Set Using its Reference), promote the prompting database to the top (button ^)
5.Click Close; this stores the links to these databases; in the ribbon icon, the star or the grey heart is replaced with a red heart, and the icon of the first item in the menu Insert Reference>Insert Reference gets also a red heart (select the Minutes view)

From now on, to access the database selector, use the item Open Databases in place of the icon.
Overall maximum count of preferential databases: 50.
NOTE A common preferential database can be dismissed from the current estimate.
