The QDV7 window receives the data windows (estimates and databases). Each window has its own scrolling bars.

Nested window

You can nudge the workbook window inside the QDV7 window using the mouse.

Several data windows can be nested inside the QDV7 window (Multi Document Interface).

The QDV menu bar of the QDV7 window is shared by all the nested windows: Workbooks, Databases in Edit mode…

The Database toolbar is specific to the databases in Edit mode. In Connected mode, the menu is part and parcel of the database window. Refer to How to Open a Database.

The Reporting toolbar shows only in the tab Reporting.

The Planner toolbar shows only in the tab Planner.

To dock a floating window to the upper left corner, double-click its title.

The workbook window of Minutes, Nomenclatures and BoQ features a box on the right to split it into two horizontal panes. Both has their own scroll bars, their own focus and their own context menu.

The workbook window of any estimate element - except Planner - features an Edit mode (refer to Actions). In this mode the framework is supplemented with a reference row (letters), a formula row and a reference column (numbers); exceptions: Minutes, Nomenclatures and BoQ.
