Navigation:  IDIQ Contracts > Rebuilding Estimate For Orders

If you have chosen the variant 1 as per IDIQ Contracts (insertion from the contract database in selling price) and you want to breakdown all the derived estimates into technical chapters (generally based on references, i.e. WBS item numbers), index the contract database in selling price. Refer to How to Index a Table (Tree Structure).

 

Insertions

Click File>New and select Create an estimate with default values.

To retrieve the overhead of the basic estimate, click Automation>Import Settings>Entire overhead workbook. Refer to How to Import Data.

Check in the Summary tab that you have NOT imported a Target value and the selling prices calculation mode is Fixed Factors.

To insert the ordered sets:

1.Open the database whose sets are the basic estimate tasks

2.If extra fields have been requested in database parameterisation, enter their value in Edit mode

3.Insert the ordered sets into the Minutes view

4.Insert there extra fields.
