The Market coefficients are introduced in IDIQ Contracts. You must assign a set of values to each Minute.
Starting point: rebuilt estimate.
In File>Options>IDIQ contracts, check the first box and the "Allow selling factors per family in the overhead" box: QDV7 creates the "COC Family” List for Overhead in the Fields Manager and in the Overhead workbook.
Procedure
Authorizations are required for steps 2 and 3 (Overhead, COC Family, ID, Definition and Market coefficients columns).
1.In the Overhead workbook, select the "COC Family” tab (Call-Off Contract)
2.Optionaly, enter a significant name for each Market coefficient (instead of 1, 2, ...)
3.Enter a significant ID for each set of Market coefficients to use (revision and negotiation, ...) and values (formulas are allowed in)
4.Insert the related column in the Minutes' view
5.Select the IDs for the header of sets in the view of Minutes.
In event of overlapping between COC Family and the Materiel or Workforce set, you can enslave COC Family to either set. (Refer to Defining Slaves Lists.)
NOTES
- The Market coefficients can be imported from a previous IDIQ contract through Import Settings>Entire overhead workbook
- Entering an ID in a underlying row of a set matters only if Hide/Show>Groups' Contents is checked.
Report
The COC Family is the basis to organizing the report:
▪The orphan Minutes are listed out first alphabetically (<blank> family); there is no market coefficient
▪The families succeed alphabetically
▪Within a family, the Minutes succeed alphabetically.
If a Market coefficient row is missing, it means that all its values in the COC Family are equal to 1.
With the default report, the red rows show italicized in black.
