Article Databases > Edit Mode > How to Fill the Database

Entering a quantity is possible only in connected mode. Refer to Articles Viewer Description.

Entering values in the other columns is possible only in Edit mode.

The Database path and Database source can be edited, but their values are not inserted into the Minutes view.

Currency input:

1.Click the column: the generic trigram XXX shows

2.Enter the trigram EUR, USD, GBP ... (three chars are allowed in).

Input in sets of columns: enter a Kind ID that exists in the estimates into which the article will be inserted or add this Kind ID before insertion.

Input in added columns (refer to How to Add Columns):

▪Free column with preset list: double-click and select the item (or type the value)

▪Column Task in Gantt: use the same ID as in the planner; WARNING: after insertion, the dates and duration in the database overwrite those in the planning

▪Column Microsoft Excel workbook: click a cell to open the workbook; to return to the database, select (Save and) close in the context menu; refer to In-Row Workbooks

▪Column Word document: click Data>In-row document; refer to In-Row Documents.
