To set up QDV7 publishing tool, you must first have:

▪a machine, connected to the internet and to your intranet to host the template application

▪a server hosting a web site (you can also install QDV7 on the server so that you need no other machine).

 

The publishing tool is delivered and installed with QDV7. You can find it in QDV7 installation directory (usually \Program Files). The program is named Publishing_Tool.exe.

Create a shortcut to it and run it.

 

The source directory must be set to the installation directory and the target directory should be a directory in your web site, accessible for read purpose in HTTP mode by all users. You may either use "Set" buttons to define directories or type them.
